Back in the dark ages of the internet, when YouTube was getting started, there was a simple chiropractor who saw a need to educate the world on health and wellness.
This doctor’s name… Dr. Eric Berg.
When I started working with him back around 2017 he already had about 10 years in the YouTube game.
And he had a respectable 300,000 total subscribers.
Fast forward to 2022 and his YouTube channel gains, on average, 300,000 subscribers EACH month.
There are three reasons for this, and I’ll walk you through them.
Research
Spending time researching what topics to cover is essential, especially if you want to increase your chances of keeping people interested.
There’s 2 phases of research, the topic you’re covering and the relevance of the topic.
If relevance isn’t important to you then you can just research what you’d like to share with the world.
And as a quick tip, you can do research by surveying your current audience or if you don’t have one yet, use google trends.
But I’ll let you in on a little secret… if you go inside your YouTube studio under “Channel Analytics” you’ll see a “Research” Tab.
This feature allows you to check what your viewers are already searching and what people are also searching all over the platform!
It even gives you the level of search volume between low-high for the search term, so now you even have the platform helping creators like you find the best content to put out.
Create Amazing Content
In Dr. Berg’s case, he’s dedicated a big portion of his life to educating the world, and that’s no exaggeration.
He really spends a lot of time filming amazing videos that educate people on health and wellness, but he’s done a heavy amount of research for what he teaches and continues to do so before anything else.
That’s what can make content so valuable these days, whether you’re teaching people new things, feeding them entertainment, or my personal favorite “edutainment” where you educate people in a fun entertaining way.
Creating amazing content doesn’t mean you need to be a born actor.
There are things you can do to make your content turn out good like video editing software, reading off scripts, and just practicing over and over after each video.
The biggest step is getting in front of a camera and talking about the outline you’ve created from the research, and getting used to it.
I personally don’t like reading off scripts, but that’s why we have other tools to help us in case we do occasionally slip up and add to the “bloopers.”
Work “Magic” and Distribute It
Now this last step takes a certain level of knowledge and tactics to distribute it, and quite honestly requires a team.
But as soon as you’ve done your research and made your amazing content, all you have to do is distribute it.
Now, there are ways to amplify your distribution besides clicking the upload button and not many others do it.
So that’s why my agency and myself have been so fortunate to help people like Dr. Eric Berg grow to 300,000 subscribers per month.
And as a result of these 3 things, our clients enjoy this kind of level of social media domination that few others have ever been on the receiving end of.
In fact, at the time of writing this, Dr. Eric Berg’s channel has over 7.12 million subscribers, and we expect the channel to break the 10 million subscriber mark around 2023.
Now, what does this have to do with you?
It means if you’re a business owner that wants massive growth for your organization then you’re on the right track.
The tools and techniques we have at my Marketing Agency, AGM, only work for the people willing to put in the work.
And just like Dr. Eric Berg you can find out how we help boost businesses for massive growth and get to 300,000 subscribers per month.
