AI Transformation, Live Session 1: MCP in plain language

The first live session of the current run: why attention is still the whole game, and the Model Context Protocol explained with a restaurant kitchen.

The game is still attention

[00:17:58] Things are moving faster than I have ever witnessed in this space, in this era.

[00:18:20] I realized then that I had to become a marketer, because I realized that marketing was the path to attention. And I understood that without attention, we can't build a business. But then the idea of becoming a marketer became, okay, well, if I want to survive, I need to become a marketer. So along the journey, I became a marketer, and it became an obsession. A marketer is somebody that has an obsession with capturing attention, and turning that attention into revenue.

[00:18:49] It cannot just be an obsession with getting attention, because that is something else. That's like vanity, right? Like a TikTok influencer. They're obsessed with getting attention, but they don't know how to turn that attention into revenue. A marketer is obsessed with getting attention, and turning that attention into revenue. That's the missing element with all these broke influencers out there. They don't know how to do that end section of the equation of being a marketer. And that's what I want to pass on to you.

A marketer is somebody that has an obsession with capturing attention, and turning that attention into revenue.

[00:19:20] It's a very exciting era, 2026 right now. I'm live with you here. This is not an AI avatar — this is me, right? It could be an AI avatar. I could be faking it all right now. I could be. It's how crazy things are getting. But it's not. And there's very fast movement of things that are really happening right now that you gotta stay in the know. Gotta stay in the game, or you are gonna very quickly become irrelevant.

I am not an AI expert

[00:21:04] I made a video last week talking about this thing called an MCP integration. Again, I'm never going to pretend to be an AI expert. You know what I am? I am an opportunity expert. When I see opportunities, I master them, and I ride the wave. And they come and they go, okay? So I'm not here to be one of those AI gurus that tells you, oh my god, these are the problems, and these are the things. I'm not one of those. I'm telling you, I'm gonna show you how I'm doing it, and what I'm doing, so you can do it yourself.

[00:22:02] AI is not the opportunity. The opportunity is — because we all have access to it — the opportunity is how do you use AI to complement who you are. Never allow AI to replace you. Always, always use AI to maximize you, to make you stronger, to get you more skills and more abilities, but it's always about you. You are the mind, you're the spiritual being, you are the one that runs the show, not AI.

[00:22:35] People try to get AI to replace them along the way. And, oh, I don't need to do it anymore because I got AI. That's where things start going downhill. I use AI to make me better. All the time, nonstop.

You are the mind, you're the spiritual being, you are the one that runs the show, not AI.

MCP, in plain language

[00:24:07] Here's the analogy. If you go to a restaurant, and you have a menu — the API is going to take your order, the menu item, is gonna send it to the kitchen, and the kitchen is gonna make it for you. You see? There's, like, several parties involved. A model context protocol is: the kitchen has the entire menu. And it produces all of it without even discussing with anybody. It has access to all of it. There is no in-between, there's no line, there's no additional parties.

[00:24:53] So, this is something that was created by Claude. They are the developers of this technology. ChatGPT, for example, cannot do anything on its own. It responds based on your communication, it gets an input, and it gives you data back, and gives you, like, an answer, or research. But the LLMs did not really have the ability to connect with softwares and technology and get work done in one single platform. They are the kitchen. The MCP becomes the kitchen that brings in software on one side, and it brings in the LLM on the other side, and it pulls them all together. And you can operate from within that one kitchen to handle everything that you possibly need.

[00:26:18] I can tell you, in AGM marketing, we use GoHighLevel. We also use ClickFunnels. We have ClickUp as a community management, customer management, project management, communication platform instead of Slack. We have all these different technologies. With the MCP, with the model context protocol, I can put them all in the kitchen, and I can manage them through one single platform. One. That's it.

[00:27:17] In AGM marketing, we use a lot of Meta campaigns, Facebook advertising, Instagram ads. With MCP now, you can actually go to Claude, and you can run all your campaigns directly on Meta with the technology of MCPs. The agents are now inside the MCP, and they're going out there, and they're getting your communications and your requests, and they're getting work done for you. You don't have to go and get feedback from AI and get it done yourself. You can just say: you get it done. Let's do some research — you get it done.

Humans that use AI

[01:30:36] I can tell you what we bring to the table that Claude is not gonna bring. The AI is not going to replace the spiritual being, right? It's not gonna replace the creativity. AGM Agency is going to bring a lot of creativity, and we use AI. I have not replaced humans with AI. I have replaced humans that don't use AI with humans that use AI. That I have done.

[01:31:03] You cannot work in this company anymore if you're not into AI. I don't want you here. As simple as that. I actually am hiring, actively hiring people right now, but I'm only hiring people that have AI capabilities. Because AI in the hands of a marketer that can create — that's an artist, that's passionate, that's really good at what they do, and they're obsessed over the game of attention, and impact, and revenue, and convincing a customer to buy — that's where the real power comes in of an agency. But to have access to this tool, to get the journey started? Priceless. Absolutely priceless.

I have not replaced humans with AI. I have replaced humans that don't use AI with humans that use AI.
