Hey guys! Welcome to another episode of the Facebook Marketing Ninja. Manuel Suarez here one more time and i’M super, super fired up today. I just got off an interview with this guy right here, John Lee Dumas from Entrepreneur on Fire. If you’re wondering why I’m pointing to something in the podcast is because I’m also on Facebook live on the pod session here talking to you about this particular subject that we are going to be covering today. But anyways, keep your eyes open, keep your ears open. It’s going to be on September 10th. It was a fine interview on the Entrepreneur on Fire Podcast. It’s a podcast that I’ve been a fan of for a very long time. This guy is a rockstar that has over 2000 episodes now and he invited me to be part of the show. I was very humbled and honored to be a part of that. But, here we are today, full of energy. I just flew back from Puerto Rico. I spent a few days over there since last Wednesday doing a convention for my dad’s business, NaturalSlim. The international convention, it was very exciting to see the progress of our business. It’s been such a wild ride taking my dad’s business from being a Puerto Rico-small-island-business to now an international phenomenon in 8 countries. We have people from Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Spain, Holland, Mexico City. We have people from Texas, from all over the place and it was insane, so much expansion, it’s very exciting. I had the pleasure and the honor to talk to these guys, talk about the strategies that I talked to you guys all the time about, strategies that you guys are already familiar with on the subject of Facebook Marketing, providing value, how you build a business in this 2018 world, the way to go about actually approaching the social media scenario, landscape that is going on right now.   

So, it’s really exciting, a lot of things that are going on. Things are not slowing down. The technology is getting better, things are improving along the way. We are actually going to the direction of evolution. Nobody’s going back, the train keeps on moving forward and we just have to find a way to be on top of it and just keep on riding this wave. That’s basically what we’ve got. We’re riding a wave right now. If you’re on business and if you are not on social media, if you’re not investing heavily, not only a little bit, but heavily in social media advertising, you are leaving a boatload of money on the table and is not a smart thing to do because right now, we have something that before we didn’t have – we have communication platforms, we have the ability to communicate like never before – and it’s a matter of time, it’s a matter of understanding how to use them so you can also be successful. Again, it’s only a matter of time before it gets too late, before it gets expensive, before these platforms are overpriced or at least equally priced. But right now, we can continue riding the wave.

Now, precisely, the title of this podcast is actually a podcast that I’ve never done before. I was looking over the list of subjects that I want to cover with you guys. And then I ask myself, “Have I ever talked about who is Facebook ads for?” And I don’t think I have. It’s a little bit shocking to me to realize that. But in reality, most people don’t understand this because they think this is only for e-commerce entrepreneurs, or it’s only for brick and mortar. There’s a lot of confusion on the marketplace, on the entrepreneur world when it comes to Facebook ads and who should be doing Facebook ads and who does not need to be doing Facebook ads and they don’t work for them. In reality, it’s almost like if I ask somebody, “Who is food for?”. If you want to survive, if you want to nurture your body, if you want to be able to grow muscles and feel good and healthy, you need to eat and you need to eat proper food. This is the same thing for business. Why would it be any different? If you want to expand a business, capture more attention, accomplish more, take your business to the next level, if you’re already doing half a million dollars and you want to take it to $2 million. If you’re already doing $1 million and you want to take it to $10 million. No matter what, if your goal is to grow your business then you should be doing Facebook ads.

Who should not be doing Facebook ads? An employee, somebody that doesn’t depend on their business to actually survive, somebody that just has a paycheck that they’re living with and they’re happy about it and that’s totally fine. But if you’re in business, if you consider yourself an entrepreneur, you would not be doing a smart thing if you are not invested heavily in Facebook ads. Again, I’ve talked to you guys about this before. The reality is that Facebook right now is where the attention is at and it’s at an underpriced level when it comes to marketing on it. It’s not that I’m a Facebook guy. I told you that before if you’ve been listening to my content before, you know that I call myself a Facebook Marketing Ninja because I see the opportunity and I wanted to explore it and I wanted to take it to the next level because I see that it’s also not going to be here for a very long time. Facebook marketing is something that allows you to put yourself in front of many people and accomplish the Coca Cola effect, the Pampers effect, the Kleenex effect that they have been able to do over and over and over again for ages and ages because they have been able to brand their company, their brand for a long time. And now, when you think about a diaper, you don’t think about a diaper, you think about a pampers.

So, basically, that’s where the whole thing lies. If you’re looking to accomplish more traffic, if you want to get more business for your company, if you’re looking for more eyeballs to be able to see what you have to say then you should be doing Facebook. It’s as simple as that. If you are not looking for more traffic, if your business is going really well with word of mouth, if your business has been growing really well with affiliate marketing or with something else that is not related to Facebook ads then fine, you don’t have to. But, the question gets easily answered with this next statement. Facebook ads is an advertising platform that allows you to get more prospects to service and more clients to deliver to. If you are looking for more clients then you have to understand that the world has dramatically changed today in 2018 and no longer you can depend on traditional print or newspapers or radios or magazines or television or media mail or postcards or anything because the world does not have their attention, the eyeballs there any more like they used to have attention on it. So, if you want to get more attention then Facebook ads is for you.

Now, there are many ways to get started and getting started should not be optional if you want to take your business to the next level. I understand that sometimes it could be daunting, it could be a challenge, it could be like, “Wait for a second, I don’t even know where to start, I don’t even know how to use my phone. I don’t even use Facebook myself. How do I even get going on this particular platform?” Well, you have to start somewhere and take baby steps along the way because every single day, if you learn something new, eventually, you’ll be a master at it. Do you know that somebody that was a beginner, when they carried on and they persisted and they trained nonstop, they eventually became professionals? That is the route of any professional. I played tennis for a long time. At one point, I don’t even know how to hit a racket, I didn’t know how to do marketing, I didn’t know how to use a computer. I learned how to do it and became a professional at it. Do I have a certificate on the wall? No certificate on the wall. I don’t have any title that tells the world that I am a Facebook marketer. But actually, I’m a certified professional by Facebook but that’s something that I did in my spare time to become really good and something that people respect that I am certified. But other than that, I don’t have a university degree or any of that. I became a professional with hard work and a lot of dedication, hours and hours of studying and implementing along the way.

So, if you can just simply manage to learn something new every single day even if it is five minutes or if it is one hour or if it is obsessed like me, hours a day, then you will get there. And, you will get there faster. There is a strategy that works. You can go back to my podcast. On the previous one, I talked about the freebie strategy. I talked about a social media strategy that’s working today many times before, there’s a lot of education on the subject. I remember the first time that I’ve opened up the Facebook Business Manager and I have felt like I was in a state of confusion not even understanding for one second what the whole thing was. There was something called the power editor, audiences, and the ads manager. Guys, it was a mess. But, I learned something new every single day until I mastered the platform. And now, I teach the world how to use the power of this incredible tool that is a billion dollar software to be able to grow your business on Facebook using Facebook.

Now, when I say Facebook, what do I mean? I mean Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Whatsapp. Any company that Facebook owns, they usually find a way to make it something that you can monetize with. Right now, it’s just a matter of riding that wave. So, if you’re here, if you are listening to this podcast, I’m assuming you’re not doing this for entertainment, you are probably an e-commerce entrepreneur, an Amazon seller, you have a shop, a service, brick and mortar stores, if you have any of that kind of service or business, then if you are not yet started, you can just jump on get it done and just move consistently and do something more every single day. Jump on the Business Manager and get your feet wet and start going and be willing to fail along the way, be willing to learn, be willing to make a mistake, be willing to actually have a process of evolution in which you can get better and better as a Facebook advertiser. That’s what’s going on right now and I think that we have a good solid five years before this whole social media world becomes too expensive and too fancy and now, it’s only going to be for the big corporations.

We’ve got five years for the small guys – people like you, people like me, to be able to make a killing on these platforms. If you think about it guys, what me? I have sold over $150 million on Facebook ads using Facebook ads, Messenger marketing, Instagram marketing in the last several years. How is it possible that from nothing and with no training, and just doing it from my kitchen where I started building my first business with two partners that I’ve sold so much money? So many dollars through my advertising on Facebook and building the social media world. If you guys are wondering how, well, I have some big brands. I have Dr. Eric Berg and I handle his company. I handle my dad’s company. We are a $40 million company right now. So, when I tell you that I built something hardcore, multi-million dollar businesses that I can get credit for, I mean it. And, I have been riding this wave. And, just when I think that things are going to get expensive, they get better.

So, I think that you need to just jump in there and learn. If you haven’t jumped into the mini-courses yet and you’ve just been learning and you’re trying to figure out what to do next, I may need you to jump in there because those mini-courses will help you get there at least get a little bit closer. And then you can keep on evolving on that knowledge. I mean today, four years, five years, ever since I’ve started learning the Facebook platform, I still learn every single day and it keeps on evolving and getting better every single day. So, we still got a long way to go. We’re still going to evolve, we’re still going to get better every single day. I’m going to help you guys along the way through my podcast, through my content, through my training, through my course, through every single thing that I can –  this is what I love to do the most – I love teaching entrepreneurs how they too can become successful in this social media tsunami which my great grandparents did not have access to, and my great grandkids will not have access to. We are a stand-alone generation right here, it’s us. In about ten years, we’re going to remember how incredible it was in 2018 to be able to advertise to the world and put your message in front of the masses for next to nothing.

So, I’m telling you guys, it’s something that you either jump on board now or regret in the future and hope that you would have done something about it because right now, this is what I’m doing, I’m riding the wave and I think that it will be a great idea and it will be a great ride for you to also ride the wave with me because it’s only going to get better for the next few years and then it’s going to get expensive. Christopher, you say you’re not? You should definitely ride the wave because in reality (I’m responding to somebody here on Facebook live), if you ride the wave, you’re going to be able to reap the rewards later on once you’re able to build that awesome business that allowed you to actually expand your income which is what it’s all about.
